In response to Taylor Swift’s public endorsement of the Democratic ticket via an Instagram post signed “Childless Cat Lady,” Kamala Harris and Tim Walz joined the excitement by releasing friendship bracelets labeled “Harris-Walz” in their official store. Inspired by Swift’s Eras Tour, these bracelets quickly became a hit among voters supporting the Democratic duo, selling out shortly after being listed.
Priced at $20 for a set of two, the bracelets contribute to the Harris Victory Fund’s fundraising efforts. Following Swift’s endorsement, Team Kamala tweeted, “Are you ready for it? Harris-Walz friendship bracelets have hit the store!”
Swift’s support, highly anticipated within Democratic circles, was celebrated widely. She posted her endorsement after Harris finished her debate with Trump, stating that she believed Harris and Walz were the steady-handed leaders America needed. Swift also praised Tim Walz for his longstanding commitment to social justice.
Harris further embraced Swift’s hit song “The Man” at a post-debate event, while Tim Walz expressed deep appreciation for Swift’s courage and support in an interview with MSNBC.
Donald Trump, however, responded by dismissing Swift’s impact, claiming her endorsement wouldn’t help her much in the marketplace. He also expressed his preference for Brittany Mahomes, referencing her recent association with MAGA supporters.
